This document outlines the standard of service you can expect from Vintage Exterior Clean and your responsibilities as a client. By confirming a booking, you enter into a formal agreement with us.

 

 


1. Scope of Exterior Works

 

We specialize in the restoration and maintenance of property exteriors. Our core services include:

 

  • Pure Water Window Cleaning: Utilizing reach-and-wash systems for a spot-free finish.

 

  • Debris Management: Comprehensive gutter clearing and downspout testing.

 

  • Surface Restoration: High-pressure washing for masonry and low-pressure soft washing for delicate facades and roofs.

 

  • Solar Optimization: Gentle cleaning of PV panels to restore energy efficiency.

 

 

2. Client Responsibilities & Site Prep

 

To ensure a “Vintage” quality finish, we require the following from the property owner:

 

  • Securing the Perimeter: Please ensure all windows and doors are tightly shut and sealed. We are not liable for water ingress due to faulty seals or open windows.

 

  • Clearance: Move vehicles, outdoor furniture, and fragile decorations away from the work zone. While we assist where possible, the risk of moving heavy items remains with the client.

 

  • Utility Access: Continuous access to an external water tap with adequate pressure is required.

 

 

3. Safety & Weather Protocols

 

  • The Safety First Rule: Our technicians reserve the right to suspend work if conditions (high winds, lightning, or extreme Melbourne heat) pose a risk to life or equipment.

 

  • Technician Respect: We maintain a professional environment. Any form of harassment or unsafe interference with our crew will result in an immediate site exit and a $120 call-out fee.

 

 

 

4. Financial Terms

 

  • Investment: All quotes are based on the visible condition of the property. If unforeseen issues arise (e.g., hidden heavy debris or restricted access), we will discuss price adjustments before proceeding.

 

  • Settlement: Payment is required on the day of service via Cash, Card, or EFT.

 

  • Arrears: Accounts unpaid after 7 days will attract a 10% compounding weekly late fee to cover administrative costs.

 

 

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

 

We value our time and yours.

 

  • Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice deprive other clients of a booking slot. As such, a 25% “Short Notice” fee applies.

 

 

6. Limitations of Liability

 

  • The “Reveal” Factor: Cleaning often reveals pre-existing flaws (e.g., cracked tiles, oxidized siding, or loose grout) that were hidden by dirt. Vintage Exterior Clean is not responsible for repairing these pre-existing conditions.

 

  • Wear & Tear: We are not liable for damage to aged or improperly maintained surfaces that cannot withstand standard cleaning pressures.

 

  • Notification: Any service discrepancies must be raised within 24 hours to allow for a site re-inspection.

 

7. Marketing & Privacy

 

Unless explicitly requested otherwise, we may take “Before & After” photos of your property for quality control and marketing purposes. Your personal data is never sold and is used only for booking and billing.
